David Ross scooped an incredible double win with victory in Brighton Mitre CC’s 4,682 hill climb in Shoreham on Saturday, having already won their shorter event in the morning.
It was also the third win of the new season for the London Fixed Gear and Single-Speed CC after he took victory in the Kingston Wheelers climb last weekend.
Here, he stopped the clock at 7.31.6 to claim the win and as in the morning event, Espoir rider Nick Martin was runner-up in 8.08.3.
Thomas Doran of Hemel Hempstead CC, having missed out on third place in the first event by a second, secured the final step on the podium here with a time of 8.11.
There was a good performance from juvenile rider Adam Churchill of Preston Park Youth CC who was fourth in 8.44.6. First veteran was Stewart Gregory of Nottingham Clarion CC, sixth overall in 8.51.7.
