Luke Clarke defeated brother Ross by just 18 seconds to claim victory at the Finsbury Park CC 25 on Sunday morning.
Despite a reduced field, the riders had excellent conditions as they took on the F10/25 course along the A10 in Hertford.
It was Luke Clarke (TMG Horizon CT) that went to the top of the standings stopping the clock in 52.39 with a handful of riders to go.
Older brother and team-mate Ross was the final rider to go and despite a strong effort he finished in a time of 52.57 which game Luke the victory and the sibling bragging rights.
Luke, 29, from Milton Keynes has had regular podiums this season, putting this triumph along with his win at Finsbury Park CC’s 50-mile event last month.
Ross was third on that day but himself has had a good 2017 so far with podiums across a range of distances in the last three months.
Third place on the day went to Stevenage CC rider Joe Gorman. Whilst a minute behind the top two, he was comfortably on the podium in a time of 54 minutes dead.
Matthew Reader (Verulam CC) finished fourth but was the fastest veteran on standard, 12.09 inside the target time.
Of the two women riders that participated, it was Team Trident’s Anna Bradley that was quickest, stopping the clock in 1:15.02.
