Alex Colman and Jordan O’Mara were fastest man and woman respectively as Bourne Wheelers staged their 50-mile time trial to the south of Sleaford in Lincolnshire on Sunday.
Using the C50/2 course, riders first headed north on the A15 to the outskirts of Sleaford before tracking back down to Osbournby, then heading east on the A52 to Donington, then turning round and heading west to Grantham.
Another turn sees them head back east, and up the A15 to a finish near Swarby.
Colman, the 29-year-old Alford Wheelers rider from Lincoln, clocked 1:48.50 to take the win by 23 seconds from Matthew Senter (Team Velovelocity), while third spot went to Antony Gough (Velo-One CT) who was another six minutes back.
Meanwhile, Mansfield-based 45-year-old O’Mara clocked 2:16.56 to take the women’s prize by almost three minutes from Sarah Lewthwaite (East Bradford CC), with Louise George (Witham Wheelers) just 18 seconds further back in third.
Colman – who is set to compete in the National 12-hour Championships in two weeks’ time – is a man in form this season.
He placed seventh in the National 100-mile Championships last month, and won the Lincolnshire RRA 10 in May.
The 2016 event was won by James Gelsthorpe (Peterborough CC), but he was a non-finisher this time around.
