The Essex Roads CC dominated the prizes at the Maldon and District CC 50-mile time trial in Essex on Sunday.
Colin Ward was fastest, the 39-year-old from Basildon covering the E21/50 course in 1-48-59 and winning by 38 seconds, while his team-mate Gill Carter was the fastest female with a time of 2-16-17.
And those two teamed up with Paul Ruffy in the winning team, the trio totalling 6-15-01 to claim that prize too.
It was Ward’s four win out of four open events ridden so far this season. He was victorious in the Maldon and District CC 25 on May 7, and has also tasted victory in the Bishops Stortford CC hilly 25 and Easterley RC hilly 26 in April.
Ward is back in action next Sunday, when he is scheduled to ride the Eastern Counties CA 25-mile Championships near Newmarket in Cambridgeshire.
Carter was also fastest female in the 2016 edition of the Maldon and District CC 50, but this time she was 33 seconds slower.
Like Ward, it isn’t the first time she has had success this season. She was first female in the Maldon and District CC hilly 18-mile event back in March, while she was third fastest woman in both the Maldon and District CC 25 and the Eastern Counties CA 10 earlier in May.
