The team for the Regents Park Rouleurs were the winners in the inaugural CC London 4-up team time trial on Saturday afternoon.
12 teams were in action in the fairly uncommon discipline of 4-up competition, each completing two laps of the Guilden Morden circuit in Cambridgeshire.
Veteran Justin McKieq, Matt Antoniou, Matija Ilic (both 32) and Tom Harris (21) made up the victorious Regents Park team.
Antoniou and Ilic paired up to finish third in the CC London 2-up event near Potters Bar in March whilst in the same event, Espoir rider Harris teamed with Buxton CC man Joseph Bowers to finish second, defeating his teammates by a single second.
The quartet were all on the same page on Saturday though stopping the in 55.47, notching up an impressive winning margin of one minute 22 seconds in the process.
Barry McDonald, James Wylie, Neil Hughes and Matt Carter came second for Velo Schils Interbike RT in a time 57.09.
Completing the top three a further 40 seconds behind were Mickey Cranks CC, the foursome of Anthony Turner, Pauk Renshaw, Andrew Pickett and Mick Murphey stopped the clock on 57.49 and were nearly two minutes clear of their nearest challengers for the podium.
Pairs from host club CC London and Southgate CC joined forces to record the fastest time for a team with a female rider.
Karen Taplin took that honour with fellow veterans Derrick Nelmes (CC London) and Southgate duo of Domenico Sommella and Jamie Dean in a time of 1:17.07
