Keith Murray claimed the Andrew Hutton Memorial Trophy with victory at the Cleveland Wheelers sporting 21 on Sunday.
Heavy overnight rain had left pools of water across the roads in North Yorkshire, but conditions improved and the veteran Murray showed his class to top the field of 90 cyclists.
Despite the course being revised from previous editions of the event, the Drag2zero rider ensured he claimed victory in the event for a record tenth time in the event.
Murray stopped the clock at 43.42, which was 43 seconds ahead of the rest of the field.
Adept Precision RT rider Shaun Tyson claimed second place whilst Dominic Munnelly (Newcastle Cheviot) complete the top three, clocking 45 minutes exactly on the 21-mile course.
Holly Flannery (Team Jadan-Weldtite) was the fastest woman on the day, a time of 51.30 good enough for 35th place overall.
