Adam Gascoigne made it two wins in a row and broke the course record with victory in the Scunthorpe RC 10 in Kirton Lindsey on Saturday.
After winning the BDCA 2-up TT last weekend, the Giant Store Rutland rider was at his best again, powering round in 20.15 to set a new record time.
Good conditions welcomed the riders with dry roads and light winds blowing in a southerly direction on the way back.
A field of 43 riders turned up to tackle the event and coming second to Gascoigne was York Cycle Works’ Richard Sharp in 20.28.
Jack Levick of Tuxford Clarion CC was third in a time of 21 minutes dead and fourth-placed Julian Ramsbottom was first veteran home in 21.01.
Rebecca Smith of the University of Sheffield CC was fastest woman in 24.26 and Team Swift won the team prize with Nick Rogers, Steve Gore-Browne and Gary Bates joining forces.
The organisers would like to thank the marshalls, the ladies who provided refreshments and the time keepers.
