Chris Smart of GTR claimed victory in the Emergency Services Championship 10-mile race in Lidlington, Bedfordshire.
The 35-year-old from Glasgow, representing the Scottish Fire Service at the event, was last to set off in a 67-strong field and posted a winning time of 19.46.
Richard Jennings, a member of the Army Cycling Union and the Explosive Ordinance Disposal unit, took second place just eleven second behind Smart.
Simon Beldon (SSLL Racing Team) of West Yorkshire Police was only five seconds further back, earning him the best veteran award and a place on the podium.
Beldon was also part of the West Yorkshire Police team that claimed the team prize, along with Michael Lawrenson and Ritchie Towers.
Liz Powell (Mike Vaughan Cycles) representing West Midlands Police, was the fastest woman on the course, clocking a time of 22.01.
