Daryl Wall of Out of the Saddle CC took victory in the 10-mile Rutland CC event held at Hatfield Woodhouse on Saturday.

The 41-year-old clocked a time of 21.32 to take top spot, beating Liam Bosley of Team MiVelo Racing by 26 seconds.

Ian Guilor of Mapperley CC managed to secure third place by putting in a time of 21.59, just eight seconds ahead of fourth-placed Neal Parkin of North Notts Olympic CC who finished in 22.07.

Veteran Langsett Cycles rider Karen Ledger took top spot in the women’s category with 24.37, enough to place her 22nd overall.

Her team mate Alex Deck was next fastest with a time of 25.28 and in third was Sheffrec CC’s Alix Archer in 26.16.
