Gary Chambers (Fareham Wheelers) set a blistering time of 20.52 to take a clear victory in the Cyclelogic 10.
Despite being held on a still morning the cold conditions meant times were slower than those set in the midweek club event.
Earlier this week Steve Lampier (JLT Condor) set a course record of 20.18 in windier conditions on the same night Chambers clocked 20.50.
Despite being slightly slower on this occasion Chambers time was easily enough for a 32 seconds victory from Tim McEvoy (Lanhydrock Wheelers) who clocked 21.24.
Scratch man Sandy Gourley (Penzance Whls CC) rounded off the podium in third with a time of 21.46.
Fourth overall and fastest veteran rider was Gary Fouracres (St Austell Whls CC) in 21.55
In the women's category Deb Grills (St Austell Whls) won a hard fought contest with a time of 26.12 ahead of her team-mate Rose Wills in 26.31.
