Tandem pairing Adam Duggleby (Secret-Training CC) and Steve Bate (Para CC) clocked a personal best of 17 minutes and six seconds in the Bridlington CC 10.

The 38-year-old GB para-cyclist, from Moray, in Scotland, clocked the time with his pilot Duggleby on the fast V718 course near Hull.

Philip Graves (Clifton CC) snatched victory in the senior event clocking 18 minutes and 35 seconds .

Graves was outside his personal best time of 18.20 set on the same course in May, but his time was enough for victory by eight seconds on this occasion.

Drag2Zero team-mates Keith Murray and  Scott Burnes rounded off the podium positions with times of 18.43 and 19.29 respectively.

A competitive junior section saw Sam Henning (HMT Academy with JLT Condor) clock a time of 19.06 for victory.

He was closely followed home by Peter Kibble (73 Degrees Bicycles) in 19.15 and Eugene Cross (SSLL Racing Team) 19.25 in a tightly fought contest for the top positions.

The women's event saw Eilleen Burns (100% ME) take a clear victory with a 20.41.

It would have been much tighter but second place Anna Turvey (Tyneside Vagabonds CC) clocked a 21.44 including a one minute late start penalty.
