Ashley Cox (CC Luton) returned from road racing in emphatic style setting a time of 18 minutes and 50 seconds in the Chronos RT 10.
In only his second time trial of the season after also winning the North Road CC 25, Cox's time was enough for a clear victory and a course record on the A428 near Cambridge. Cox also went on to break a course record on Sunday, winning the a3crg 10 on the P886 course which is the location for the National 10 Championships next month.
On another day George Fox (Wellingborough RT) could have stolen the show with a time of 19.07 but he was beaten into second on this occasion.
Luke Hodson (St Ives CC) took third place clocking 19.39 on a day when the first five riders all went under 20 minutes.
Fastest woman went to Emily Cox (Bedfordshire RT) with a time of 21.42, while Ruth and Graham Freestone-King (45 RC) were the fastest tandem clocking 22.14.
Michael Laborero (Bedfordshire RT) clocked 22.09 to win the road bike prize.
Tomas Weir (Swansea University) and Ryan Witchell (Radeon- Bike Science RT) were the winners of a hotly contest two-up competition clocking 19.34.
