Veteran Paceline RT rider Keith Lea was the quickest on the Bentley Bypass as he took victory in the 50-mile event held on Sunday.
He raced round in a time of 1:45.28 to take the top prize and his team mate Ben Elliott finished in second, just off the pace of Lea with a time of 1:45.56.
The win shows Lea’s versatility with him also doing the business over the shorter distance. Back in June, he found himself on the top of the podium on day two of the 25-mile Team Axiom Weekender.
G.S. Henley rider Ryan Davies completed the top three, around a minute down on Elliott’s time, stopping the clock at 1:46.54. It proved to be a good day for Paceline with Andy Lack also finishing in the top ten.
