Jon Wynn (TI Diabetes.info) won the Yeovil CC 25 on Sunday by a comfortable winning margin of well over a minute from runner-up Tony Chapman (Frome and District Wheelers).
For Wynn the victory was a follow-up on the win he registered in May at the CC Blaenau Gwent 25 when he also rode home over a minute clear, but his time of 52:08 at the Yeovil CC represented an even more emphatic victory.
Chapman’s second-place finish saw him fall short of the first place he achieved at the Western time trials association in June, with Simon Coles (Norwood Paragon CC) back in third on a time of 54:57.
Greg Parker (Velo Club St Raphael) was fourth with 54:52 whilst Chris Randall (Velo Club St Raphael) came in fifth on 56:08 and Laurence Douglas-Greene sixth with a time of 56:23.
Chippenham and District Wheelers’ Emma Angove was fastest female with a time of 1:06.37, beating Sarah Wheeler (Offcamber) was almost three minutes.
