George Fox of Wellingborough Cycles RT took a convincing win in the Hinckley CRC 10 event, completing the course in 20.38 – 15 seconds quicker than David Mead.
But Mead’s time of 20.53 was enough to give the home club rider second place on the podium and Lutterworth CT’s David Kiernan had to settle for third with 21.04.
Jessica Kennedy recorded the quickest women’s time with the Derby Triathlon Club member setting the pace at 25.40. Hollie Owens of Lichfield City CC was second in 25.41 and Rebecca Mason of Coventry Road Club was third with 25.45.
