Neon Velo’s James Boyman powered to victory in the Farnham Road Club 25-mile time trial, staged on the popular H25/8 course near Bentley in Hampshire on Sunday.
The 27-year-old clocked 50.56 to take the win by almost a minute from Peter Tadros (In Gear-Quickvit-Trainsharp RT), while James Rix (Crawley Wheelers) completed the podium in third spot, another five seconds off the pace.
The event takes riders along the A31 from near Bentley heading south west to the outskirts of Alton, before heading back up towards Farnham then heading back down to the finish near Bentley.
Eleven seconds behind Rix was Paceline RT’s Ben Elliot, while Chris Demoulin secured sixth spot for Peterborough CC with 52.23.
Theo Tadros (In Gear-Quickvit) was the top juvenile with 1:01.25, while top tandem pair was Paul Charman and Rob Allen of the promoting Farnham Road Club with 1:01.30.
