Richard Price (London Phoenix) took victory by over 30 seconds in less than perfect conditions in the Chelmer CC 25, run on the E9/25 course near Chelmsford in Essex.
Despite the wet surface on the lumpy 25 miles out and back course, Price cruised up and back down the A106, clocking a time of 53.35.
After making it into the podium places on four occasions this season including a second in the Maldon and District CC 25 his time was easily fast enough for the victory this time.
Rhys Howell (Richardsons-Trek RT) was Price's nearest challenger but his 54.06 was only good enough for second on this occasion while Steve Dennis (East Grinstead CC) rounded off the podium places with a 55.27.
First woman on the day was Julia Freeman (Easterley RC) who was also the fastest woman in the ECCA 25 miles championship last month. On this occasion she posted a time of 1:02.10 on the slower course.
Fastest team on the day was Finsbury Park CC who placed two of their three counting riders in the top 10 overall.
Despite the conditions 16 riders went under the hour out of a field of 75 riders.
