Tejvan Pettinger took a comfortable victory and set a personal best time in the process in the Redmon CC 25, staged on the H25/8 course near Farnham in Surrey.
His blistering time of 49.11 on the out and back course was enough to take victory by nearly two minutes.
Better known as a hill climber after finishing sixth in the national championships in that discipline last season Pettinger showed his form again on the flat after also winning the Newbury Road Club 25 last month.
James Boyman (Neon Velo) was second fastest on the day setting a time of 51.09 while Matt Peel (Redhill CC) won a close battle for third finishing just four seconds faster than David Hill (Bec CC).
