Dean Robson (NOPINZ) snatched victory in the St Austell Wheelers 25 by just two seconds in a frantic end to the event on the S101/25 course near Bodmin in Cornwall..
The 29-year-old was the fastest on the day recording a time of 50 minutes and 48 seconds on the scenic course which passes by the Goss Moor Nature Reserve.
Robson also won the Bath CC 24 event last month and placed third in the first round of the RTTC Classic series hosted by Chelmer CC.
However, he nearly lost the victory when veteran scratch rider Conrad Moss came within two seconds of stealing the win but just came up just short with a time of 50.50.
Coming home in third place was Matt Slater (Revo Racing) who posted a time of 52.02.
Winner of the women’s event victory went to Crystal Spearman (NOPINZ) in a time of 59.51.
