Mark Turnbull (Torq Performance) was fastest solo in the Macclesfield Wheelers 25, run on the J2/9 course near Goostrey in Cheshire on Saturday afternoon.
The 43-year-old clocked 53.59 to take the win by 1-14 from Chris Quin (Macclesfield Wheelers), while Jonathan Gildea (The Nab Racing) completed the senior podium in third, another 36 seconds back.
But the fastest time of the day came from Adam Duggleby (The Nab Racing) and his paracycling tandem partner Steve Bate (Para-T) who clocked an amazing 49.04.
The event attracted an impressive field, and fastest woman was Sarah Storey (Podium Ambition-Club La Santa) whose time of 57.28 was good enough for ninth overall and put her head and shoulders above the other women with Kelly Murphy (Boot Out Breast Cancer CC) second with 1-00-32.
Top junior was Matthew Burt (Macclesfield Wheelers) with 58.58, while second was 18-year-old woman Monica Dew (Boot Out Breast Cancer CC) with 1-02-51.
Turnbull has shown impressive form so far this season already, having won the second round of the RTTC Classic Time Trial Series just over the border in Derbyshire last month.
