Start by the BT manhole cover at the bridge over Harehope Burn, located on the B6278 approximately 1 mile south of Edmundbyers. Proceed south on the B6278 for approximately 2.5 miles. Finish at the top of Muggleswick Common adjacent to the highest snow pole.
