Description

The Viking Road Club 50 was one of the classic Essex time trials reliably producing fast times on the Southend Road and later on the A12.  Sadly, the event had its last running in the 1990s and in 2017 the Viking Road Club was disbanded.  Cambridge CC is now resurrecting the classic event on the record-breaking E2/50c course east of Cambridge.  There will be a BBAR-qualifying event for 80 riders plus a VTTA event for 40 riders, preference to EA VTTA members, for the EA VTTA 50 mile Championship (EA VTTA members who qualify for the BBAR event can ride that and still be part of the VTTA event).

The prize list will be extensive, starting with £50 each for the fastest man and fastest woman.
