COURSE: A25/34
Start 36 yards after the speed derestriction sign on the southbound exit from East Stoke. Proceed south to turn left at the traffic island (near Eden Hall) to pass over the A46. Turn left onto the slip road to A46 southbound and proceed to the junction at Stragglethorpe roundabout. Take the slip road to the new traffic roundabout, take the 4th exit to pass under the A46 to the second roundabout. Take 3rd exit to slip road onto the A46 northbound and proceed towards Newark. At Farndon roundabout take the first exit onto the old A46 Fosse Way, to finish at the start of the fence on RHS at gateway to River Trent and just before Stoke Warren Farm, on approach to East Stoke. (25 miles).
Safety: In the interests of your own safety, Cycling Time Trials and the event promoters strongly advise you to wear a hard shell helmet that meets an internationally accepted safety standard and have a working rear light (flashing or constant). Do not stop at the finish timekeeper but proceed for a short distance, make a U turn when safe to do so and return to the HQ, where your time will be displayed. The A46 even on a Saturday is still a busy road, please take no chances and ride safely. Your welfare is paramount.
