IMPORTANT UPDATE
OPEN 10 MILE TIME-TRIAL, J2/1 Course . GUYS THERE ARE TEMPORAY TRAFFIC LIGHTS ON KNUTSFORD ROAD AT CHELFORD FARM SHOP AND WILL BE ON FOR APPROX 2 WEEKS. J2/1 COURSE IS NOW UN RIDEABLE.
ALTERNATE COURSE - J6/10 . I HAVE BEEN ARRANGING,INFORMING THE POLICE AND TRYING TO ALTER EVERYTHING SO THE RACE CAN PROCEED ON SATURDAY. I HAVE DONE WHAT I CAN AND THE DECISION FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY REASONS WILL LIE WITH THE TIME KEEPERS AS THEY REPRESENT THE M&D DISTRICT ASSOCIATION. i WILL VISIT FRIDAY EVENING AND SATURDAY MORNING TO CHECK PROGRESS OF ROAD WORKS AND IF LIGHTS REMOVED.
PLEASE TURN UP THE RACE SHOULD BE ON BUT MAYBE ARRIVE A LITTLE EARLIER THAN ORIGINALLY PLANNED TO SIDDINGTON VILLAGE HALL NO CHANGE.

Chelford Island: Riders must negotiate Chelford Island in a safe and sensible manner in accordance with CTT Reg. 20 and the rules of the road. Riders must be able to brake and stop at the Island if traffic conditions require this. Riders must not approach and encircle the island using tri-bars. Remember – traffic on the island has priority over traffic (including riders) entering it. Any riders seen in breach of this regulation will be disqualified from the event and may be reported for further disciplinary action.
Booths Hall Island: in wet weather beware of slippery surface. 2 athletes came off here last year in the wet take care as you encircle the roundabout.
In the interests of your own safety – Cycling Time Trials and the event promoters strongly advise you wear a hard shell helmet that meets an internationally accepted safety standard. In accordance with Reg.15 all junior competitors MUST wear protective hard shell helmets.
It
is recommended that a working rear light, either flashing or constant, is
fitted to the machine in a position visible to following road users and is
active while the machine is in use
