Stannington - Tranwell - Ponteland - Blagdon
START at lay-by on the left, approximately 30 metres past Stannington First School, west of Stannington on Church Road. Proceed on Church Road towards Tranwell Village, via Bets Lane and then through Tranwell until the T-Junction with the B6524. Turn left on to the B6524 and continue along B6524 until taking the second left towards Gubeon (sign-posted Ponteland). Continue past Kirkley Hall and Gardens onto North Road and onto Ponteland. Turn left onto Berwick Hill Road. Proceed up to Berwick Hill and north east past Horton Grange to the T-Junction with the Old Great North Road. Turn left onto the Old Great North Road and continue past the entrance into Blagdon Estate, to FINISH at the stone wall of the bus shelter (18.1 Miles).
