London South District regulation: No vehicles, except those of the timekeepers and event officials, shall be parked in the
vicinity of the start and finish areas.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The location of Oakwoodhill Village Hall relative to the course means that there is nowhere off the course for warming up.
Competitors are therefore requested to use one of the two following options:- (a) Turn LEFT out of the hall and ride down Honeywood Lane to the junction with Horsham Road; LEFT into Horsham Road down to Rowhook; return to the hall by the same route taking care not to obstruct Competitors already racing. (b) follow same route as above but continue through Rowhook to A29; LEFT on A29 to Ruckmans Lane; LEFT up Ruckmans Lane to junction with Honeywood Lane; Left to return to hall (this circuit is approximately 6.5 miles.
Details of any Additional Hazards not listed on the Start Sheet will be displayed or advised at the Signing On Point. All Competitors must take note of these details when they sign on
Competitors must exercise extra care when passing the Start area and when joining A29.
No times will be given at the Finish
When crossing Honeywood Lane to reach the Start, Competitors MUST take care not to impede earlier competitors racing up Honeywood Lane. After finishing Competitors should go straight on past the Start to Oakwoodhill Village Hall, taking care not to obstruct any Competitors still racing in Honeywood Lane.
All cars parked in Honeywood Lane southeast of the village hall MUST have all their wheels off the road,

GUIDANCE NOTES FOR Event Promoters
Promoters should refer to the GENERIC Risk Assessment and check that all measures to reduce risk have been covered.
Promoters should also complete a SPECIFIC Risk Assessment to identify any additional risks shortly before the event,
Contacting the Highways Authority and briefing Competitors at the Signing On Point if necessary. On the day after the event, the Specific Risk Assessment Sheet/s must be posted to London South Assistant Secretary (Courses) - see details in the CTT Handbook.
Promoters should be familiar with CTT Regulations and, in particular, the Sections “Duties of Promoting Secretaries” and
“Abandonment or Postponement of Events” as published in the CTT Handbook.
Promoters should keep the Entry Forms, Signing-on Sheets and Check Cards for one year after the event if there has been no incident in connection with the event and for three years if there has been an incident.
