This event is being run on the WE27/01 course.
The course is an 13.5 mile loop located in East Lothian, Scotland to the south of Pencaitland and passes through the villages of Peaston, Humbie, East Saltoun and West Saltoun. The start and finish point is located near the junction of two unnumbered roads north of Peastonbank/Glenkinchie Distillery. The route progresses westerly 1.5 miles to the junction with the B6371; then turning left traveling southeasterly on B6371 a distance of 4.0 miles towards Humbie; then turning left onto the B6368 traveling northeasterly for 4.5 miles and turning left onto the B6355 road to East Saltoun. Continuing west on the B6355 to East Saltoun for 1.8miles following the road as it bears right, until a left turn 0.1 miles later onto West Crescent (before the war memorial). Continuing on West Crescent traveling 2.3 miles westerly past West Saltoun and returning to the start/finish point. Riders will follow the same route as above to complete the 2nd lap & the 27mile distance.
