start in crimbles lane at junction with a588 approximately 1 mile south west of cockerham. proceed along a588 to stakepool where turn left into garstang road opposite the elletson arms (3.77 miles) and continue to cogie hill (5.80 miles). bear left into island lane to winmarleigh and via broad lane to junction with b5272 (8.57 miles). turn left (care) along b5272 to junction with a588 at cockerham (11.48 miles) and bear left along a588 through start (12.48 miles) to complete circuit a second time. (stakepool 16.25 miles) (cogie hill 18.28 miles) (junction b5272 21.05 miles) (cockerham 23. 96 miles) at end of second circuit continue on a588 to finish in line with caravan sign on west of road approximately 80 yards after starting point.
