HQ:Frank Wickham Hall, Portland Street, Etwall, Derby.
Event HQ: Frank Wickham Hall in Etwall, open from 1300. In the center of the village turn into Willington Road (next to the Spread Eagle PH), then immediately right into Portland Street. Continue up the hall drive, over speed bumps. There is limited parking at the HQ but parking is available in the bus park at John Port School (opposite the Spread Eagle). This is a short walk from the HQ. Please do not park on the driveway to the hall or on Portland Street and drive with care on this residential street.
Numbers: Will be available at the HQ and will be issued after signing on.
At the start: Please avoid disturbing residents in the vicinity of the start, do not obstruct the road. No helpers' cars in the area. Do not warm up on the Etwall by-pass once the event has started.
Approaching the turn: Riders should not change lanes before the 100 yards to roundabout marker.
Result board: This will be situated in the event HQ. No times will be given by the finish timekeeper.
In the interests of your own safety: Cycling Time Trials and the Event Promoters strongly advise that you wear a hard shell helmet that meets an internationally accepted safety standard. The use of a Rear light is strongly advised. These should be big LEDs set to a constant flash and adjusted so that the focus angle is trained on the driver’s head position of any catching vehicle. Please take care and be watchful when passing entry and exit lanes on the A50.
Important Notice
• Keep your head up when riding and obey the rules of the road.
• No "U" turns near start and finish.
• No warming up on the course after the event has started.
