From the north ½ mile, south of Sovereign Crossroad (Filling station) turn left on Park Lane
From the south 4.6 miles north of Hoylandswaine TI turn right on Park Lane
Please park tidily as 150+ riders/marshalls will be using the headquarters.
The result board, signing-on sheets, and body numbers will be located here, with refreshments & toilets.
You will all be given a voucher/token for a cup of tea/coffee when you collect your number for use at the “Tea Vanâ€Â.
CAR PARKING - Free Carpark at the football club.
Please note there is no parking available near the start or finish, except for Officials.
Please note that marshals are only to indicate your direction, and not to control traffic in your favour. At each junction it is your responsibility to ensure that it is safe to proceed.
Important notes
On leaving the HQ car park please turn RIGHT and RIGHT again at the A629. Continue up the hill and turn LEFT at the crossroads. This will lead you to the start area. This will take 5-10 mins.
If you arrive at the start early, please stand to the side of the road, so as not to cause an obstruction.
Additionally, there may be riders on the course that are partissipating in the 2 day event, completing their TT. Take extra care at the 1st & second junctions.
Further note, the road surface, for part of the course, is not the smoothest in the area!!
IN THE INTERESTS OF YOUR OWN SAFETY, CYCLING TIME TRIALS, AND THE EVENT PROMOTERS, STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO WEAR A HARD SHELL HELMET THAT MEETS AN INTERNATIONALLY ACCEPTED
