Description

START at the first raised kerbstone 210 yds South of sign "Intake Lane" near
 Bickerstaffe church. Proceed via "Intake Lane" and "Lodge Lane" to
Wheatsheaf/Elephant Restaurant Island, where left along A570 to Motorway Island.
Encircle island & follow A570 via Wheatsheaf/Elephant restaurant Island to Rainford/Mossborough Island.
Encircle island & follow A570 to Wheatsheaf/Elephant restaurant Island where left into
"Lodge Lane" & "Intake Lane" to FINISH at second gate post into plantation.

Parking for about 30 cars, available alongside the Bickerstaffe Football clubhouse, NO PARKING  IN INTAKE LANE
YOU MUST SIGN ON YOUR OWN NUMBER.

In the interest of Safety, Cycling Time Trials and the Liverpool Phoenix C.C. (Aintree)
recommend that you wear a hard shell helmet that meets internationally accepted safety standards.
Please adhere to all road safety requirements as this Time Trial is on public roads.
Obey any instructions that Marshals may require you to follow.
NO ‘U’ turns near start or finish. On finishing you must continue up the lane to the headquarters and the results board to sign back in with your number.
