‘Probably the most scenic time trial course in the UK’

There are two elements to this 25 mile event 1) measured mile climb through Castleton village and 2) the out and back ride over Blakey Ridge which covers the latter 24 miles. You will get two official times, firstly one for the ‘magic mile’ and a time for the full 25 miles.

Event HQ - Danby Village Hall,

T256 - Start on the Danby - Castleton road (not via Ainthorpe) at gateway approx 150 yrds west of bridge over river Esk. Proceed through Castleton (M) over Blakey Ridge to Hutton-le-Hole. Proceed to southern end of village, Turn right (M) and proceed through Hutton-le-Hole village to rejoin the road (M) to return back over Blakey Ridge. Finish 200m before the cattle grid on the southern side of Castleton village.
