COURSE DESCRIPTION - D10/1

START at the first raised kerbstone 210 yds South of sign "Intake Lane" near
 Bickerstaffe church. Proceed via "Intake Lane" and "Lodge Lane" to
Wheatsheaf Island, where left along A570 to Motorway Island.
Encircle island & follow A570 via Wheatsheaf/(Elephant restaurant) Island to Rainford/Mossborough Island.
Encircle island & follow A570 to Wheatsheaf/(Elephant restaurant) Island where left into
"Lodge Lane" & "Intake Lane" to FINISH at second gate post into plantation.

Please note, the headquarters are NOT in the layby on the A570
and if you park here you will not be able to return until the last rider has started and
has reached the dual carriageway.
(In the interest of safety, after finishing, riders should not ride back down Intake Lane in the direction of the outbound riders)

Headquarters are in the Bickerstaffe Football Club House, Hall Lane, Bickerstaffe, Ormskirk, Lancashire L39.
Parking is available in car park for about 30 cars. Parking in Hall lane and Church road is also possible
NO PARKING IN INTAKE LANE.
