Open 15.6 miles Time Trial (promoted for and on behalf of Cycling Time Trials under their Rules and Regulations)
Event HQ (open from 09.00): Golberdon Village Hall (PL17 7ND).
If travelling from Plymouth, go through Kelly Bray on the Callington to
Launceston road (A388). After about 0.5 mile take the left hand turn at
‘Camelot Kennels’ (just by the start lay-by – see below), singposted Golberdon.
Carry on down this road for 1 mile, take a right at the T junction then first
left. Carry on or another mile and you will reach Golberdon. The village hall is on the crossroads
by the cenotaph.
Course details: Start on the A388, 2 miles North West of Callington, at the lay-by just beyond Golberdon Cross at a point two metres beyond the litter sign (GR SX351725). Proceed North West towards Launceston, turning left onto B3257 to pass through Bray Shop and Congdons Shop to Plusha. Turn right on the old A30 and then right again, and left back onto B3257. Retrace the outward route. Finish at a point level with milestone 200 yards before farmhouse and the junction of B3257 and the A388 (GR SX344734). Intermediate mileage at Plusha approximately 7.5 miles.
