start on the b1222 just after old a1 bridge approx. 8 yards east of large a1 m sign. proceed on the b1222 through newthorpe to sherburn in elmett. just after church turn left onto st johns lane (m) 2.42 miles (care sharp turn, do not cross white line). proceed north towards lotherton (care), where left onto b1217 towards garforth (m) 5.67 miles. continue along b1217/a642 under the a1 m to the ti over the a1 7.75 miles. take the second exit (m) onto the a656, follow a656 to peckfield ti 9.85 miles, where left onto a63 (m). at ti on a63/unclassified road to micklefield village, 11.34 miles (m) turn left (m). (caution speed bumps through village). continue through village, left at t junction (m) just before m1 bridge 13.78 mile onto unclassified road to join a63 at left turn (m)(give way) 14.06 miles. to peckfield ti 15.84 miles (m) left onto a63 to finish at eastern end of lay by before new ti.
