start in middleton tyas on the single track road to middleton tyas church (to the south east of village), 10 yards from the junction with the middleton tyas to moulton road. proceed left onto middleton tyas to moulton road in direction of scorton. enter moulton, where bear left at t-junction (1.3 miles), to leave the village past the black bull pub, to scorton. where bear left around the village green, to bear right and give way and onto b1263 towards cattterick. continue around the green to bear left towards catterick before turning immediately left onto the b6271 (4 miles). proceed south on the b6271 via bolton on swale, great langton (8 miles) and yafforth, to turn left (with care) shortly after the railway bridge entering northallerton, onto standard way. pass through the industrial estate to the t-junction with the a167 (14 miles), where bear left to follow the a167 north via great smeaton(20 miles), dalton on tees and croft on tees (25 miles) to the blackwell grange roundabout, darlington (27.7 miles). bear first left onto the a66, bridge road, towards the a1. pass over the bridge and slip left at the a66 roundabout towards barton (28.25 miles). proceed through stapleton, newton morrell (31 miles) and barton village (care), to bear left onto kneeton lane towards middleton tyas (just before barton lorry park) (32.5 miles). finish approx 0.5 miles up kneeton lane, close to the house entrance on the left (33 miles).
