0.4 Miles (Hill Climb) - Beamish – Hammer Square Bank START at the end nearest to the climb of opening to Public Bridleway at foot of unclassified Hammer Square Bank road situated north of the A693 near Stanley and east of Beamish Open Air Museum. Proceed uphill in the direction of the Shepherd and Shepherdess public house to FINISH approximately midway between telegraph poles numbered 63 and 64 shortly before the crest of the hill.
