Course Code: M100/20

START on minor Morpeth to Ponteland road at south end of natural lay-by approx. ½ mile south of Kirkley Hall College. Proceed south in to Ponteland to turn left on minor road to Blagdon and continue straight on to the T-junction with the old A1 Blagdon road. Turn left on the old A1 and continue down the slip road to join the A1 northbound dual carriageway. Proceed north for approx. 1/3 mile to take the slip road leading to Stannington village. Proceed across mini-roundabout in to village and turn left after approx. 200 metres. Continue on through the village in the direction of Tranwell village, and through Tranwell village to the T-junction with the B6524. Turn left on the B6524 and continue until the second road on the left at Gubion (sign-posted Ponteland). Turn left on minor Ponteland road and straight on to lay-by starting point and the completion of one circuit. Repeat circuit a further four times and on the fifth circuit continue past the starting point and the Northumbria Police HQ entrance to FINISH opposite telegraph pole with small fence immediately after passing large tree stump on the left on long swathe of grass.
