START in Newton village, just prior to the entrance of Kidmans Close on Whittlesford Rd proceed eastwards and turn left at the T-junction onto Shelford Rd (1.9mi), continue for 1.5mi then take the left fork onto High St into Little Shelford (3.9mi), then turn left onto Newton Rd at the far end of the the village (4.1mi). Turn left at the T-junction onto the B1368 (5.0mi) then continue for 0.8mi to the finish at the side of Newton Green opposite the bus stop approx 50yds short of Whittlesford Rd (5.8mi).
