start in pump lane, purleigh, at southern at of lay-by opposite purleigh school. proceed south and after 200 yards turn left (m) into church hill. continue to purleigh wash (care through z-bends), where turn left (m) into simmonds lane and left again (m) onto b1010. continue through hazeleigh to oak roundabout (m), where go straight on onto a414 and through danbury to turn left (m) into hulls lane to sandon. turn left (m) to danbury common and proceed through bicknacre and woodham ferrers to roundabout (m) on b.1012. turn left along b1012 to saltcoats roundabout (m), where turn left and continue along b1012 to north fambridge. turn left (m) up kit's hill and take first left (m) into st. stephens road to finish opposite t.p. 851003 50 yards west of church.
