start in lay-by at second drain vent south of entrance to house called "the outspan" which is just north of junction of b1383 and b1052, approx. 1 mile north of newport. proceed north through littlebury and gt. chesterford to turn (m&c)(5.76) at roundabout at junction of b1383/a1301. retrace along b1383 through great chesterford and littlebury to finish at paint mark, 8 yards south of "weak bridge" weight restriction sign on south side of lane to audley end house (start and finish points are 1.3 miles apart).
