Twickenham Cycling Club (TCC) is a racing and sporting club with an active membership participating in many cycling disciplines, including events at local and national level. TCC promotes various events during the year, including Sportives, Road Races, Cyclo-Cross Races and Time Trials. In addition to its regular training, the Club organises various training sessions throughout the year across all cycle disciplines.
Road racing and time trialling are the favourites of most senior members, who take part in national, regional and local time trials and in local and regional road races, although sportives are also popular with a large contingent taking part in the most challenging events in the UK and abroad. Track riding and cyclo-cross also feature heavily in our members programmes with riders competing in track and cyclo-cross leagues and national series events.
The club has a strong ladies section and have had teams contesting the Ladies National Team Series as well as representatives in national series events and sportives across all disciplines. There are many ladies who are new to cycle racing, but keen to have a go and TCC organises regular training sessions to help them gain confidence and skills.
There is a youth and junior squad with membership of the youth squad starting at 13 and going through to Junior. These young people train with the club and take part in youth and junior racing at local and national level in road, track and mountain bike events.
