: For the start, retrace as for route 1 and descend down the hill, Batham Gate, to a 'T' junction. Turn right and descend into obvious dip.
The start is in the dip. SK1603 8052.
From the start, climb the hill North wards, to what is now the left turn and turn left. Climb Batham Gate, to the top of the hill. Again after the 90 degree left bend in the road,

: Approach the start for the 3rd climb as for the 2nd climb.
They share the same start SK1603 8052.
From the start, climb past the left turn Northwards. Continuing up via a long right sweeping road, Eastwards ten moving North. to a definite crest just past the junction of Dirtlow Rake and the road. SK1462 8153. The finish is before the cattle grid, and will be clear, as the location is very visible on the approach.
