Conditions
- The competitions shall be called, RTTC Series and shall comprise of one for men, one for women and one for juniors.
- The competitions shall be open to:
- All classes of riders who satisfy the requirements of Regulation 7.
- Competitions for Veterans (Scratch and Target Time), Paracyclists (based on a loading system), Road Bikes (Men, Women and Juniors) shall be incorporated into the series.
- Each competition shall be based on a points system and points will be awarded as follows:
- The competition will consist of six National events.
- Points will be awarded on the basis of 60 points for the winner down to one for 60th place.
- The winners will be the riders with the highest aggregate total of points gained from riding four of the six events.
- If more than one rider achieves the same number of points, then their highest placings of those concerned will be used to determine the winner.
Road Bike Criteria
Road Bike Criteria: the road bike can possess drop or straight handlebars; no tri-bars, clip-on bars
or Spinacci bars are allowed; no disc wheels; both front & rear wheels must have at least 12 spokes
each; the maximum rim depth allowed is 90mm.
Team Award
Teams may consist of any three riders from the same club/team across all of the categories.
The competition will be based on the total points scored by the club/teams best three riders.
The winning team will be that with the highest number of points.
If a rider changes club/team during the season, any performances after such change will not be eligible to count for the team award.
In the case of Veterans and Women Veterans it will be their best placing (Actual or Target Time) that counts. It will not be possible for a rider to have points from more than one category counting towards any Team Award.
