CTT communications

2022 thus far has seen some changes within CTT.  You will be aware that Nick Sharpe retired at the end of March 2022 as our Legal and Corporate Secretary and to date we have been unable to fill this gap and replace Nick’s knowledge and experience.  Recently we have also seen Alison Torode move on to pastures new.  Both individuals have been great servants to CTT and very worthy contributors to our CTT business and we thank them both for their service and wish them well in their future endeavours.  With Sally Withey on long term sickness absence, that means Mark Sanders and Stewart Smith are in the short term picking up additional CTT activities and they have significant thanks from the CTT Board and our CTT time-trialling community at large for the excellent work they continue to do.

At the current time that does mean that we are running our CTT business with fewer staff than we would like but we have working plans that look at the future structure and governance of CTT to ensure that we are adapting to the changing environment around us – not just in time trialling but post-Covid.  In the short term we will be bringing in some administrative support for Mark and Stewart and the Board will be picking up some of the Legal & Corporate Secretary task responsibilities while we work through our future plans.

If you are emailing in with queries, please be aware that you may not get a same-day response.  Some things may take a little longer than usual so please bear with us and I’d like to thank you all for patience and support during this time.  I shall keep you updated with progress on our plans as they develop.

Kind regards

Sue Bowler
