After two weekends with RTTC Championships taking centre field its a bit quieter this week. There are the usual mass of popular 10-mile events you can find on our start sheets listings.
We have details of three 100-mile time trials. Richard Bideau (Pendle Forest CC) takes to the road in the Eastern Counties CA's event where Mark Arnold (CC Desiragear), Ken Platts (Cambridge CC) and Tejvan Pettinger (Sri Chinmoy CT) also compete. Alice Lethbridge (Starley Racing), who was fourth in last week's RTTC National 50-mile Championship, and Katja Rietdorf (Born to Bike), in the winning team, are among the women.
The West Wales Cycling League `100` has Gregory Woodford (Reading CC) and Stephen Williamson (a3crg) with Williamson's clubmate Laura Bartlett one of the women entered. The Western TTA `100` includes Matt Burden (73 Degrees Bicycles), Andy Cook (Chippenham & District Wheelers) and Michael Shaw (London Dynamo). Triathlete Tasmin Ede (Ful-On Tri) also has a go at the distance.
The East Sussex CA `50` also includes the VTTA Surrey and Sussex Championship with Pete Morris ((Team ASL360), Nick DWyer (Lewes Wanderers) and Simon McNamara (South Downs Bikes) involved. The Farnham RC `25` has James Boyer (Neon Velo), Mark Newton (Elite Cycling) and Stephen Whitewick (VeloRefined Aerosmiths). The Clarkes, Luke And Ross (TMG-Horizon RT) and Peter Lawrence (High Wycombe CC) go for the Hemel Hempstead CC `25` on the F13. In the West Country, Dean Robson (NOPINZ) chases a win in the Exter Wheelers 24-mile promotion.
