At the Board meeting held on 27 June 2021, Sheila Hardy announced that she was to retire as chairperson of CTT and as a director of CTT with immediate effect.

Sheila was elected onto the National Committee of the RTTC at the National Council AGM in December 1997 and continued as a director of CTT when the RTTC incorporated and became CTT in 2002. Sheila was elected as chairperson of CTT in 2008. Sheila’s contribution to the sport has been immense.

The Board would like to thank Sheila for her hard work and commitment to the sport, and over such a long period of time. The Board is sure that all will join them in offering Sheila their very best wishes on her retirement.

In accordance with CTT article 32.7, Gavin Russell (Teesside DC) has been elected as chairperson, to hold office until (and including) the National Council AGM to be held on 5 December 2021. It falls to the National Council to elect a new chairperson as from that date.
