Riding in the Tour of Gila Claire Rose was the best of the Podium Ambition p/b Club La Santa squad in the 26.4-kilometre time trial stage. Rose finished in 10th place with a 41-41, 2-35 behind winner Kristin Armstrong. Sarah Storey was at 3-39 in 14th and Sharon Laws was at 8-06, 56th.

British TT Champion Hayley Simmonds (UnitedHealthCare) was 15th three seconds behind Storey.

Women's World TT Champion Linda Villumsen was fourth at 1-21.

The tough out and back course included two climbs in to a head wind before a tailwind finish.
