TAYLOR GOES FOR `50`
A couple of 50-mile events for us to look at this weekend. Saturday sees the Dukinfield CC promotion with Charles Taylor (Team Bottrill) heading the listings along with Nigel Haigh (Strategic Lions) and Neil Skellern (Team Swift) while Jill Wilkinson (Chester RC) and Claire Swoboda (Starley Racing), second in last week's RTTC Classic Series event,are the leading women. On Sunday the Norlond TT Combine `50` includes Andy Jackson (SSLL RT), Brett Harwood (Terry Wright Cycles), James Perkins (Team Bottrill), B Xavier Disley (AeroCoach), Ross and Luke Clarke (TMG Horizon RT), Tim Bayley (Arctic-Tacx RT) and Matthew Smith (Team Bottrill) with Jody Conibear (Hemel Hempstead CC) the leading woman.
JOSHUA WILLIAMS IN WALES
Joshua Williams (Team Bottrill) goes for the CC Blaenau Gwent `25` with Conrad Moss(Mid Devon CC) and Ben Anstie (73 Degrees Bicycle) among the opposition. Maldon & District CC Spoco `25` has Colin Ward (Essex Roads CC), Anton Blackie (Rapha CC) and Anthony Stapleton and Peter Harding (Chelmer CC) listed.
Moving on to the `10s`, Warren Gell and Steve Daintith (coveryourcar) and Jonathan Sumner and Derek Parkinson (Springfield Financial) ride the Cleveleys RC event; Daniel Barnett and Geoff Platts (Team Bottrill) and Shaun Eden (4T+ Velo Club) are down for the Melton Olympic CC's `10`; Peter Tadros (In Gear Trainsharp Quickvit) heads the entry for the Old Portlians CC event.
North Tynside Riders 12-mile time trial has David Paterson (Bishops Auckland CC) and Lee McDermott (Breeze BIkes RT) entered.
