Not satisfied with calling a halt to their hill climbing season 2018 RTTC Championship silver medallists Calum Brown (Team B38-Underpin Racing) and Mary Wilkinson (Yorkshire RC) are both back in action on Sunday after last week’s title races.
Both line-up in the 0.6-kilometre 3RT Scammonden Dam hill-climb along with another 118 keen souls that also includes Brown’s team mates Andy Nichols, a team medal winner along with Brown in the Championship, and Kieran Wynne-Cattanach. The event is on a closed road.
Sunday also sees the Cambridge University CC event on the 900-metre ascent of Worts Causeway where the promoting club's Felix Barker looks to be favourite among the 53-strong entry. Mathilde Pauls (Sigma Sport) is amongst the women taking part.
The Fareham Wheelers promote on Saturday when 40 take part in their closed road hill-climb on the 2.37-kilometre Hayden Lane climb at Warnford. Alan Murchison (Drag2Zero) and Vicki Gill (Drag2Zero) feature.
